William Fiorella graduated from Emperor’s College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, Summa Cum Laude and is highly regarded as an Acupuncturist, Herbalist, Dietary Counselor and T’ai Chi instructor. He holds an official teacher’s certificate from the William CC Chen School of T’ai Chi Ch’uan in New York City and is a student of world renowned Qi Gong master Ken Cohen. A musician in his former occupation, William approaches medicine as an art form and has a unique ability to “listen” to each patient, determining what techniques and/or medicinal substances may be helpful for each individual. Following in the footsteps of the great masters of Classical Chinese Medicine, it is not uncommon for William to perform an acupuncture treatment, prescribe a unique herbal formula and teach therapeutic Qi Gong exercises, including personally crafted meditations specifically for each patient. William’s knowledge of Herbal Medicine comes from over 20 years of practical, hands on study with master herbalists, both in the classroom and in the field. He is equally fluent in Chinese herbs as well as North American herbs, both East and West of the Rocky Mountains. For the last 5 years, William has founded, owned and operated Wrightwood Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Center as well as Big Pines Movement Arts Tai Chi & Yoga Center in Wrightwood, CA. It is with great enthusiasm that William has relocated with his family to the Driftless Region of Wisconsin, and is currently seeing patients at the Holistic Health Center in Viroqua.
